Robert West is a nationally recognized democratic strategist who has worked across the country on campaigns from city council to President. He integrates organizing best practices with first rate media programming to create campaigns that break barriers and make history.

He built program among native communities to elect Sen. Jackie Rosen and Sen. Jon Tester. He led African American outreach efforts in key states for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ insurgent presidential campaign in 2016. He elected the first Muslim woman in Tennessee, Councilmember Zulfat Suara and the first black mayor of Montgomery, AL Steven Reed.

Robert comes from a union household in Pittsburgh, and credits his parents for teaching him that real change happens when you lift up the voice of a community. He’s a proud graduate of Tennessee State University, an HBCU in Nashville, TN. He and his wife live in Charlotte, NC.
