Rep. Ruwa Romman

Since her first candidacy in 2022, we’ve been working with Georgia Representative Ruwa Romman.

Rep. Romman is more than a leader—she’s bold, passionate, and deeply committed to public service. She approaches politics with integrity, always standing up for what’s right, and even in the toughest moments, she finds ways to bring joy to the work.

From day one in office, she’s used her position to uplift her community and make a real difference.

As one of the few Palestinian elected officials in the U.S., she quickly became a sought-after voice when the conflict between Israel and Hamas escalated in October 2023. Since then, she’s spoken on national platforms, made headlines as a key voice at the Democratic National Convention, and been featured everywhere from Last Week Tonight with John Oliver to Rolling Stone.

Our job is to ensure that her dedication—to her community, her values, and the people she serves—shines through in every conversation, headline, and speech.

SEIU

In 2018, SEIU 205 brought us on to create their first Federal Independent Expenditure to support Gov. Phil Bredesens’ campaign for US Senate.

Since then, we’ve been proud to stand alongside the Purple and Gold, helping them run campaigns that have made a real difference for working people across the country.

Together, we’ve fought to re-elect Gov. Andy Beshear in Kentucky, helped elect progressive majorities to city councils in Houston, Dallas, Nashville, and Memphis, and supported candidates like Lisa Blunt Rochester for U.S. Senate and Kamala Harris for President. In 2023, our work with SEIU on behalf of Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell earned Campaigns & Elections’ award for Best Independent Expenditure Ad.

But our work goes beyond elections. With SEIU, we’ve helped grow worker enrollment, shift city budgets to reflect community needs, and protect wages. This partnership is more than just a working relationship—it’s a cornerstone of our firm. And we’re proud to stand with the Purple and Gold, every step of the way.

Montana

In 2024 Corsair Campaigns was one of two preferred media vendors for the Montana Democratic Legislative Caucus Committee.

We worked with 8 campaigns across the state, ultimately winning 6 of our 8 races in a year other Democrats struggled.

Montana legislative races limit media capacity in a number of ways. Campaign finance limits are very strict and there isn’t an extensive history of media programs driving legislative races. We worked with our candidates and the caucus staff to maximize the efficiency of their programs, primarily through engaging creative. We deployed short form videos, thirty second videos, and high impact gif based display campaigns to fill up every available inventory slot so that we were winning the biggest number of auctions at the lowest price possible.

Our Montana work proved two of our founding principals -

1) that you can run a great campaign without a six figure media budget

2) that modern media analysis tools let campaigns optimize for ad impact in a way that other media vendors simply haven’t adopted.

In a year where other Democrats lost seats in their legislatures, the MDLCC gained 11.

Native Voices Native Vote

In 2020, we began a relationship with New Mexico Native Voices, which has expanded to their partner organization Western Native Voice.

We’ve placed ads in English and Diné. We’ve placed ads across multiple states to mobilize voters in national elections. We’ve placed ads on single low wattage radio stations on tribal land. We’ve made placed billboards, radio, and video ads for top targeted congressional elections.

They’ve run successful programs that changed behavior. Together, we’ve expanded native turnout. We’ve flipped top targeted congressional seats. And we’ve delivered real representation through new maps that correctly represented native populations.

We’ve done it by being true to the communities that they represent and allowing the client to lead the creative process. Their work reflects who they are, how they see the world, and what they think political creative can do.

Independent Expenditures

We’ve won awards for our Independent Expenditure work every year since 2019 including Best Independent Expenditure Video in 2023 and 2024.

We’ve attacked Republicans, turned out communities of color, educated infrequent voters about ballot mechanics, and found the audiences that needed a specific message in a specific frame from specific messengers.

In 2024, we made ads for 1000 Women Strong that coalesced black women around Kamala Harris in Virginia, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Nevada.

We’ve been media vendors for League of Conservation Voters affiliates, SEIU, Native Voices Native Vote, New Georgia Project, and Democratic Party Committees from coast to coast. When you need to maximize the efficiency and impact of outside dollars, Corsair Campaigns finds the right vehicle for the right message.

Texas

We love Texas. Both our partners have lived in Texas. The first iteration of our company Instagram was mostly pictures from the places featured in the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ Joints in Texas. When we talk about “the Austin office” we’re talking about the back door of the Continental Club.

Because we have worked extensively in Texas, we understand its unique challenges. The ways in which late money decides elections, the structures of a county coordinated campaign, and the simple fact that Texas elections play out less like single statewide elections and more like a national election in the composition of counties and media markets.

Since 2020 we’ve been partners to the organizations that make up the Progressive Table making ads for SEIU TX, Annie’s List, TSTA, and TX AFT. We’ve also worked with party committees in Texas like the Muslim Caucus and the Denton and Collin County parties.

We’ve also won competitive elections in Texas, having worked with:

  • School board Member Lori Tays

  • Councilmember Vicki Byrd

  • School board Member Patsy Sosa Sanchez

  • School board Member Dynette Davis

  • Councilmember Michel Hambrick

  • Councilman Brandon Chase McGee

  • School board Member Keith Maddox

  • Rep. Mihaela Plesa

  • Rep. Michelle Beckley

Georgia

If you’ve never met us in person, you probably heard that we live in Atlanta. And that’s as true as any good rumor can be and still be entertaining. All of our Principals have in fact lived in the Atlanta metro. Our VP of Campaigns, Mr. Steen Kirby, is still a resident of Grayson, GA and a veteran of most of the successful campaigns in Gwinnett and Dekalb Counties.

We’re steeped in Georgia politics and Georgia political history. We have big ideas about how to keep Georgia blue, and continue to insist that as long as there are two Democratic US Senators from Georgia that it is in fact, a blue state. We’re deeply invested in winning statewide offices there.

We’ve got a whole set of triggers around the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Nothing good happens there.

Advocacy Campaigns

In city council chambers and state legislatures across the country, we’ve run campaigns that impacted the behavior of decision makers.

Working with Texas AFT and the Texas State Teachers Association, we defeated public school vouchers in the 2023 Texas general session. We’ve worked with SEIU to protect workers and expand budgets across Tennessee. We’re expanding home construction capacity across Appalachia with FAHE. We’ve worked with dozens of environmental organizations across the country to block developments, change energy source and efficiency standards, and protect conservation funding at every level from county commissions to Congress.

We build advocacy campaigns that are meant to win the fight in front of us and build power for the long term.

First and foremost, listen to the people who are in the room. We make advocacy creative intended to move the people who are going to decide the outcome. And we measure our success by how often those decision makers get called by the people whose opinions they consider.

You’ll also get media consumption analysis that informs our ad placement and arms your champions with the information they need to have the most impact.
